- Day 1: Arrival
- Day 2: After breakfast you make your way to the stables, where you saddle your horses and ride to the highest mountain of the Asterousia Mountains. You head eastwards with views over the Messara Plateau and up to the highest mountain in Crete, Psiloritis. On the way you will take an extended lunch break at a chapel with ancient olive trees. On the way home, enjoy the impressive panorama of mountains and sea. If you feel like it, you can climb to the top of Kofinas on foot. Riding time 4 to 5 hours.
- Day 3: Today you ride westwards to Tripiti Gorge. The ride through the gorge is breathtaking, with towering cliffs to the right and left of the narrow path. Once you reach the end of the gorge, you can refresh yourself in the sea and have lunch in the restaurant. Riding time 5 to 6 hours.
- Day 4: Use the day to explore the surrounding area, for example with an excursion to one of the bays or for a hike. In the evening, meet up at the stables for a sunset ride. You ride up to a viewpoint with a magnificent view of the rugged south coast in the light of the sunset. Riding time maximum two hours.
- Day 5: Today you start on a 2-day ride to the active monastery of Koudoumas. The route heads east and downhill over wide tracks and an idyllic pine forest with a view of the sea. Towards evening you will reach the remote monastery by the sea and have the opportunity to refresh yourself with a swim. You will spend the night in the simple guesthouse at the monastery. Riding time 5 to 6 hours.
- Day 6: You have breakfast in the monastery garden, saddle the horses and start your way for Agios Ioannis. Your route takes you above the cliffs along a narrow, partly rocky path lined with trees. At some parts of the way it is not possible to be on a horseback due to the ground conditions. In Agios Ioannis you have the opportunity to swim in the sea and you can enjoy a delicious lunch. Then it’s time to go back to the stables. Riding time at least 5 hours.
